Another sunset

Another sunset, seen from West Kirby looking over toward Wales.

After the sunset yesterday I turned round and there was a fantastic moonrise. Had to grab it quick.

I have been going out in the evening lately to capture the last glimmers of light on the horizon. Sometimes it gets so dark I cannot see the colours I am putting down. I use a small pochade box from Abbeyeasels (http://www.abbeyeasels.co.uk) He makes great little boxes.

Life drawing

Life drawing of Victoria which was done as a warm up for a drawing demonstration for the local art club. Went well on the night and picked up some new students for my life classes.
